Our client, Trim Homes Limited seeks a Business Analyst.

Key deliverables/responsibilities

  • Analysis of customer requirements
  • Produce key project documentation (business requirements, functional specifications, test cases, operating model, etc.)
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate business user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate and lead meetings/workshops
  • Engagement with vendors and perform RFP/RFI assessments
  • Provide analysis support and leadership on some of the client’s most critical projects.
  • Engaging with, and presenting to, management, subject matter experts and IT professionals to gain the outcomes required.
  • As required, providing project management capability on the projects being worked on (dependent on project size/complexity).

Must have

  • Experience in an analytical role, working closely with both IT development teams and business users.
  • Experience with asset management and system development projects
  • Fixed income product knowledge (Bonds, Swaps, ETDs, FX & Loans), particularly in relation to data attributes and features of these products.
  • Possesses a good understanding of the front-to-back trade life cycle.
  • Experience in the key systems relating to asset management – Order Management, Investment Accounting, Reference Data.
  • An ability to understand complex problems and communicate them effectively to the business as well as to a technical audience.
  • An ability to work efficiently and effectively with a high level of activity and changing priorities.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of Charles River, Bloomberg Reference Data and SimCorp
  • SQL
  • Data modelling
  • Strong Excel skills (not VBA)
